About Cortney

Hello! My name is Cortney and I am the genius (hahaha) behind the HappyCoupleShop’s blog. I am very new to the blogging world and am learning so much from all of you, I am very grateful. I welcome everyone’s input and love connecting with fellow bloggers, crafters, Etsy people, home makers, or just people trying to figure out their way through life. The name HappyCoupleShop originated because I told my boyfriend about Etsy and he said he wanted to sell some of his woodworking creations and furniture on the shop with me. Well… I have yet to see one of these creations but I will be keeping the name for now because I think it is cute and we actually are a very happy couple. I am 27 years old and live in New Hampshire where I have lived my entire life. I have a part time job, a cleaning business, an Etsy shop, and I am going back to school… I’m busy and I love every minute of it.  I am also an assistant editor at the wonderful and amazing creative co-op Oh My! Handmade Goodness.  They are a wonderful community of makers and creative entrepreneurs helping each other out and working together.

My boyfriend and I live with our baby boy, Obie. He is a very cute, sweet, and perhaps overweight Rotweiller. I feel it necessary to add that the name Obie is from the rapper not Star Wars. Also, I was not around when he was named. Just saying…

My Etsy shop currently consists of crochet items but I also love to collage, quilt, etc… I am terrible at quilting but I am working on it.

I am a redneck girl at heart.
